In january I started a truly exciting job as the photographer for Miracle Me 3D/4D ultrasound.
I photograph all the new little bubs in the first two weeks of their life and it just absolutely makes my heart sing to capture all these wonderful little miracles. I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie today. When newborns get past the first 2 weeks of life they get more and more challenging to pose as they tend to wake up very easily - and with a lot more awake time at 5 weeks they might decide to stay awake an entire session :-) Well little Charlie was a very content little guy and he slept beautifully for me. I had the honour of photographing little miss R only 3 days after she left the hospital. What a beautiful sweet baby she is - I mean doesn't that big grin just melt your heart? :-) And big sis Emilia kept us on our toes but it was worth it just to capture those gorgeous eyes. I had 3 charming boys at my studio today and they all did such a wonderful job. At only 2 weeks old this little one was the strongest newborn I've ever seen - honestly! He was already lifting up his head and looked like he couldn't wait to crawl. He definitely had a real personality of his own and had his own ideas about what poses he would accept during the session, lol :-) As always it was a lot of fun, I asbolutely adore photographing newborns. I had a dream newborn session today with this little 5-day-old cutiepie. Once she had a full tummy she settled beautifully for us and I got to try out all my new props and knitted creations, lol. I enjoyed myself so much I completely lost track of time and kept everyone going for 4 hours! I am so excited by the result though. I hope you love the images Alyssa. What a wonderful afternoon this turned out to be. I had been warned that this little power-ball would keep me very busy but he cooperated beautifully and did a really amazing job. I had a beautiful morning session today and I just absolutely adore this first photo of these two little munchkins showing how much they (sometimes, lol) love each other ... Sam was such a trooper, as long as it didn't include bare feet on the wet grass he was all up for it. Little miss Hannah was a bit upset but we managed to get a few smiles and cute expressions in the group shots which I'm very happy with it. I had such a wonderful time photographing little Lachlan today, and he did so well. Looking through all the photos I couldn't stop going 'aaaaw ... aaaaaaw', he is seriously the cutest little thing and I adore his precious little expressions. Was lucky enough to capture a few smiles too :-)
Big brother Clinton did a fab job as well, he was so patient and it wasn't until we passed his sleep time that he had enough. Was a long morning for him but he loved the tickle-monster, and we captured a few giggles in the process (will add one of him later). Here's a little sneak peak from the session for Tanya and Shaun. Well today's session didn't quite go as planned. Just as we got in our cars it started raining so we had to improvise. I snapped these at the covered area in Billie and Martyn's back garden. The real session will be next weekend instead. Hope you enjoy these shots guys. I adore them in black and white, but I know you're keen on colour so I included some.
